During 1919-20 , fourteen new mills were registered with an authorised capital of Rs 6.62 crores and in 1920 , there were as many as sixteen mills under construction . सन् 1919-20 के दौरान , 6.62 करोड़ रूपये की अधिकृत पूंजी के साथ 14 नई मिलें पंजीकृत हुईं और सन् 1920 में लगभग 16 मिलें निर्माणाधीन थीं .

The authorised capital and the share capital were subsequently raised to Rs 600 crores and Rs 300 crores , respectivelythe latter subscribed in its entirety by the government . अधिकृत पूंजी और अंश पूजी को बाद में बढ़ाकर क्रमश : 600 करोड़ रुपये तथा 300 करोड़ रुपये कर दिया गया-अंश बाद में पूरी तरह से सरकार द्वारा खरीदे गये थे .

The HSL had initially an authorised capital of Rs 100 crores and a paid up capital of Rs 5 lakhs ; Rs 4 lakhs contributed by the government and the rest by the German combine . इसके पास प्रारंभ में 100 करोड़ रुपये की अधिकृत पूंजी तथा 5 लाख रुपये की प्रदत्त पूंजी थी-जिसमें से 4 लाख सरकारी योगदान और शेष जर्मन कम्बाइन से मिला था .
